What a great venue the Gladstone Club turned out to be, brilliant!
It's so good to see people gettin-up and enjoyin themselves, oh it really gets ye there!
Particularly liked your version of "Dangerous Curves", sounds familliar to me!

Hey Pete,
Sorry I missed you last night at the Royal Oak, I had to work late, all hands to the pump at present!
We all enjoyed the gig at the Three Greyhounds immensely though and thought yours and Alec's version of Christy Moore's "Ride On" was awesome. It would make a good single or signature tune for a compilation album.
Vince Gill and Albert Lee had better watch out too, as yours and Alec's version of "Little Liza Jane" is "A Cracker!"
Hope to catch you and Alec at your regular Monday night slot at the Slow 'n' Easy at Lostock sooooooon!

What a fabulous night working with you both, it was a pleasure and an honour!! You have a lovely sound the two of you and you're right on track with the songs you're doing, the line dance clubs are gonna love you!!! We'll take your cards with us to Belfast. Here's hoping the Slow & Easy Country Music nights take off big style. Choose your acts carefully, get ones who will bring in a crowd and you'll have no problem!

Hey Pete,
Just wanted to say what stomping gigs I've seen you at recently!
I liked all your set, a really good blend of Country Music, Pop and Rock. I struggled to keep my limbs under control, as did the rest of the audience and just had to hit the dancefloor!
Vince Gill's "Little Lisa Jane", The Zuton's "Valerie" and Dire Straits' "Sultans of Swing" all had my feet tapping and hips swaying!
When you and Alec Johnson perform as a duo it liberates you both to show us what you can do with a guitar, awesome!
I thought it was so good I'm even going to drag my ex mother-in-law down to one of your gigs so that Alec can play her the blues to cheer her up a bit!
Check out Alec playing with his three piece band Plain Truth, to see just how good he is too, then come and watch him play Country Music with Pete, an awesome duo!
Have a look on You Tube and type Plain Truth playing Stratus into the search box, you'll be amazed.

Hi Pete,

Well what can we say… A great vocalist, an extremely talented guitarist… and a genuinely nice guy.
We travel to the Leigh Arms every Thursday to hear the live music (plus we enjoy the food)… Occasionally we miss the odd Thursday but never when your playing, we look forward to seeing you… and the dates are always booked in the diary… sound a little like stalkers lol… it is a really enjoyable night for all… so much so the father-in-law now joins us every week too… hopefully if Martin isn’t working next time he can come too with Jane.
